Sycomore Asset Management announced the award for her fund Synergy Smaller Cies a Lipper Fund Award. This distinction makes Synergy Smaller Cies best fund Eurozone Small and Mid Caps over 5 years for Switzerland.
The Lipper Fund Awards 2012, organized by Thomson Reuters, rewarded the best funds traded on the Swiss market for the quality of their performance.
Created in 2003, Synergy Smaller Cies invests in small and mid caps in the euro area. Synergy Smaller Cies is co-managed by six local teams including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Emerging Europe. The portfolio benefits from the experience and know-how of each one in its home market. 31 January 2012, the fund’s assets were 143 million euros.
At the end of January 2012, the Synergy Smaller Cies fund posted a performance since its inception in December 2003 vs. +59.4%. +55.8% for its benchmark, the MSCI EMU Small dividends reinvested.
